The effects of whitening last one to 2 years. However, this will vary from person to person. The effect is less likely to last as long if you smoke, or eat or drink products that can stain your teeth. like tea, coffee and wine
What are side effects to tooth whitening?
Most people will never see harmful side effects from tooth whitening. Some people may find that their teeth become sensitive to cold during or after the treatment, other side effects are gum irritation, mild sore throat, white patches on gum. These symptoms are usually temporary and should disappear within a few days of the treatment
